Episode Guide
This is just a brief episode guide for Rockstar Supernova that I will try and make as Toby-centric as I can so you can find just what Toby did and when.
Week 1
Episode 1: Reality Show
Pulse Recording studio performances (Toby's isn't shown). Introductions and song selections.
Episode 2: Performance Show
After a brief video introduction, Toby performs Knocking on Heaven's Door (Bob Dylan) acoustically.
Episode 3: Elimination Show
No major Toby moments here.
Week 2
Episode 4: Reality Show
Rockers are given guitars. Everyone tries to come to terms with Matt's elimination. Toby and Lukas play a practical joke on Chris for being in the bottom 3.
Episode 5: Performance Show
Toby performs Somebody Told Me (The Killers)
Episode 6: Elimination Show
Toby gets the encore and performs Somebody Told Me again.
Week 3
Episode 7: Reality Show
Vocal clinic episode - Toby's shown at the very end doing a little rap.
Episode 8: Performance Show
Toby performs Runaway Train (Soul Asylum).
Episode 9: Elimination Show
The only real Toby moment occurs during the video recap at the start where he's not happy at all with his performance of Runaway Train.
Week 4
Episode 10: Reality Show
Group Song Writing Clinic - Toby is one of the team captains and works with Phil, Patrice and Zayra. They all get to hear some more Supernova tunes and Toby now realises that the band will have a "summer night's party, drinking, beach" type of feel.
Episode 11: Performance Show
Toby performs White Wedding (Billy Idol).
Episode 12: Elimination Show
No major Toby moments here.
Week 5
Episode 13: Reality Show
Stagecraft Clinic - Jason shows Toby his White Wedding performance. He and Lukas play tic tac toe during Jill's critique.
Episode 14: Performance Show
Toby performs Pennyroyal Tea (Nirvana). He's in the bottom 3 at the end of the show.
Episode 15: Elimination Show
With being in the bottom 3 at the end of the performance show, Toby's made to stand up as one of the potential final bottom 3 performers. As the final performer is announced, Brooke tricks Toby into thinking it's him before she tells him he's safe.
Week 6
Episode 16: Reality Show
Original Song Writing Clinic - Toby (and the others) write a song individually to one of Supernova's tracks. He also rubs cake into Ryan's face in celebration of Ryan's encore. In song selection, Toby contemplates taking the song with Gilby, but decides to leave it to Dilana.
Episode 17: Performance Show
Toby performs Burning Down the House (Talking Heads) with a megaphone.
Episode 18: Elimination Show
A Vegas trip is announced and Toby indicates to Tommy that a night of drinking is ahead.
Week 7
Episode 19: Reality Show
Vegas Trip - The rockers live it up in Vegas... Toby and Lukas a little too much as they're passed out by 10:30pm according to Ryan. Upon their return to the mansion, Dilana torments Lukas (with water) and Toby (tying his legs together). At this week's song selection, Toby desperately wants to do Solsbury Hill with Gilby, but so does Dilana. To get the song, Dilana makes Toby strip naked and streak around the pool. He does this and gets the song. Later he rehearses it with the House Band and Gilby.
Episode 20: Performance Show
Toby performs Solsbury Hill (Peter Gabriel) with Gilby on guitar and plays the bongos. He's in the bottom 3 at the end of the show.
Episode 21: Elimination Show
Toby was in the bottom 3 at the end of the performance show, so he was made to stand up, but once again escapes the final bottom 3. At the start of the show Dave asks Toby what he plans to do next for a song and Toby offers to run naked down Melrose Avenue.
Week 8
Episode 22: Reality Show
Media Clinic - The rockers are put through the paces with the print, radio and television media. Toby and Dilana battle for Every Breath You Take. Toby makes Dilana strip for it then reveals later he didn't even want the song. Toby gets Layla instead and rearranges it to make it more rock.
Episode 23: Performance Show
Toby performs Layla (Derek and the Dominos / Eric Clapton). He's in the bottom 3 at the end of the show.
Episode 24: Elimination Show
Toby performs Be Yourself and 5 Other Cliches with Supernova. He then lands in the bottom 3 and performs Plush (Stone Temple Pilots). He is the first sent back to the rockers pod, leaving Patrice and Magni to face possible elimination (Patrice goes).
Week 9
Episode 25: Reality Show
Photo Shoot clinic - All the rockers deal with the fallout from Dilana's media clinic comments and the events at the elimination show. They then have to go attend a photo shoot at the mansion for In Touch magazine. Toby poses on the couch while the others pose on tables, at the piano etc. Seeing it's viewers choice week, the rockers are given their songs via a computer. Toby gets Rebel Yell and is quite happy about it.
Episode 26: Performance Show
Toby performs Rebel Yell (Billy Idol). He also sings the backup male vocals on Bring Me To Life (Evanescence) for Storm Large.
Episode 27: Elimination Show
Toby gets the encore and performs Rebel Yell again. He was in the bottom 3 at some point during the night, but was not in the final bottom 3.
Week 10
Episode 28: Reality Show
Song Writing with Gilby clinic - After a "relaxing" food fight the rockers are given a Supernova song to which they must write lyrics (with Gilby) for. Toby basically takes a complete song to Gilby who has nothing but praise for his efforts. At song selection, the rockers find out that they are to sing a cover and an original, which Toby chooses "Throw It Away" to do. It's then time for a round of skipping... with a fake rope!
Episode 29: Performance Show
Toby performs Mr. Brightside (The Killers) and Throw It Away (his Juke Kartel original). At the end of the show, the early voting is shown and Toby is in first place.
Episode 30: Elimination Show
Toby gets the encore (plus a car!) and performs Throw It Away again. He was in the bottom 3 at some point during the night (as was everyone), but was not in the final bottom 3.
Week 11
Episode 31: Reality Show
Toby received his car which he won for the Throw It Away encore. The rockers are given all songs from this season (and 4 new ones) to choose for their final performances. Toby chooses Karma Police and performs an acoustic version which plays over footage of the rockers packing and "leaving the mansion".
Episode 32: Performance Show
Toby performs Karma Police (Radiohead) and Throw It Away (his Juke Kartel original). At the end of the show, the early voting is shown and Toby is in second place.
Episode 33: Finale
Toby is in the bottom 2 and performs White Wedding (Billy Idol) for his elimination song. He escapes as Magni is eliminated. The top 3 perform their favourite song they did for the season and Toby sings Somebody Told Me (The Killers). Toby is unfortunately eliminated next and finishes in 3rd place.
