Rose was the companion for the 9th and 10th Doctor on the BBC series Doctor Who. She was fearless, compassionate and a whole lot of fun. To me, Rose Tyler was everything a companion on Doctor Who should be. She was portrayed with perfection by the wonderful Billie Piper. The title of this fanlisting comes from the unforgettable episode called Doomsday. The Doctor himself called Rose the defender of the earth and I think it helps sum her up beautifully. She did defend the earth and she did defend her Doctor... and we all loved her for it.Lets hope we haven't seen the last of Rose Tyler on Doctor Who.
