RelationshipsEven vampires can't always be alone, so here are the relationships that are most important to Mick or have effected him the most.
Mick and Beth Turner
Beth Turner is the investigative reporter from Buzzwire, who helps Mick in solving the cases he works on... and helps to save him from time to time! But it wasn't the first time that Mick met Beth when their paths crossed during a murder investigation. In 1985, Mick took a case that would change his life forever. He was asked to help find a missing child, the child turned out to be a young Beth. Mick finally did locate Beth, only to find she had been kidnapped by his ex-wife and sire. After rescuing Beth, he kept an eye on her as she grew. It wasn't until 2007, when investigating the same murder, did they finally get to really know each other. One night after Beth saves Mick from being killed by a murderer who knew of Mick's identity, she discovers the truth about what he is. Beth is the only human who Mick has told that he's a vampire and the only human he has trusted.
Mick and Coraline
Coraline is Mick's ex-wife and site. In 1952, Mick happily married Coraline unaware that she was a vampire. On their wedding night, against Mick's wishes, she turned him so they could be joined forever. Since that night Mick has been connected to Coraline, but at the same time is haunted by her. As he rescued Beth from Coraline (who had kidnapped the young child and was planning on turning her so she and Mick would have a family), Mick's final look at his ex saw her surrounded by fire and he ultimately left her to die then and there.
Mick and Josef
Josef is a friend of Mick's who happens to be a 400 year old vampire. He doesn't quite have the same morals as Mick and often tries to get him involved in the more indulgent aspects of being a vampire, which in current times Mick refuses (I say current times as in the past Mick has joined Josef in a bit of vampire fun and games!). Josef also gives Mick advice during some of his cases, which more often than not, Mick also ignores.
Mick and Guillermo
Guillermo is another vampire friend of Mick's who also happens to work at the local morgue. Guillermo helps Mick out by providing him with blood and access to victims of cases that Mick is working on.
