At the age of 30 in 1952, Mick was turned by his wife, Coraline (who he didn't realise was a vampire) on their wedding night.
What can and can't harm Mick?
Garlic, holy water and crucifixes won't harm Mick at all, only fire and beheading will kill him. A stake to the heart will only paralyse him and won't result in his death. Sunlight will also not directly kill him, but it will greatly reduce his energy and healing powers.
Does Mick have any special powers?
Mick has the ability to smell blood and distinguish who it belongs to. When he was turned, all his senses were heightened to 11 as he's able to smell the past and glimpse the future. Strength and speed also comes naturally to Mick.
Is there a case Mick has taken which has had a huge impact on him?
As a private investigator Mick takes on a lot of cases, but it was one in 1985 that effected him the most. He was asked to help find a missing girl. He eventually located the girl, only to find she had been taken by his ex-wife and sire Coraline. He rescued the little girl, who's name was Beth Turner.
Does Mick feed on humans?
Mick has a strong moral code that doesn't allow him to drink from humans, especially women or children. The blood he drinks comes from the Red Cross, with the help of a vampire who works in the morgue. He will on occasions however, feed from "those who deserve it". If he is badly wounded or sapped of energy and near death, he may not be able to resist the urge to save his own life by feeding off someone nearby.
Will Mick ever age?
No, a vampire doesn't age. Mick will always be in looks, 30 years old.
Why did Mick become a private investigator?
Basically, because he wanted to help people. It also helps him to deal with becoming "a monster".
